1. It’s hot!
This isn’t normal yoga, it’s real hot yoga! Our yoga rooms feature a heating system specially designed for hot yoga. The precise temperature and humidity level in the room removes 99% of germs, bacteria, and viruses from the air while allowing you to achieve your deepest stretch.
2. You will sweat.
Expect to sweat a lot in a real hot yoga class. You’ll want to bring a towel with you to the class, because sweating is good! Make sure to also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
3. Don’t overthink the poses.
Listen to the teacher carefully and try the pose to the best of your ability. You will not be perfect the first time. Hot yoga takes time and practice, so patience is key.
4. Rest is always an option!
While your body gets adjusted to the heat, it is normal to take breaks during the class. If you feel like you need to rest, child’s pose is always an option. It will take several classes for your body to get adjusted to the heat.
