As vaccinations become more and more common, so does our social calendar. Even as an extrovert, I can say being around people and talking to people just doesn’t come as naturally as it once did. Being in crowds and talking to strangers is something we’re all learning all over again and it can be stressful.

While shorter wait lists and new faces are a perk on this new chapter of 2021, there are also some new anxieties to pay attention to. One of the best things to understand your emotions is to be in tuned with your body. To notice those moments when your jaw is tightened, your breaths are shallow and your neck and shoulders are tense. By noticing your body language, you can begin to control your anxious thoughts and begin to come into the present.

At Real Hot Yoga, we know how much your work and personal life can effect your body language, mood and vibe. We also recognize how people tend to store their discomfort rather than purge it and we’re here to help you remember that there’s another way. Of course we’re a little biased to say that our way of recharging is of course attending a real hot yoga class; however, while our classes can help your flexibility – they also teach you skills that you can use in everyday life. This new everyday life we’re all learning all over again.

Stress and anxiety are ever present. Fortunately, we’ve got yoga and our yogi community, which is proven to help reduce stress and the health effects it causes. The best part? You don’t need any prior experience to benefit from the practice. Whether you are at home, work or somewhere in between, yoga is always here to help you regroup and relax.

Stay present, pay attention to your body, honor what you need and find balance. Ready to get started? View our class schedule today!
