Mission Statement:
Real Hot Yoga is committed to offering the ultimate hot yoga experience by providing students with a state-of-the-art facility in a warm, welcoming, supportive environment. We offer real fitness and real results!
Our Philosophy:
We believe that yoga is for everyone. There are many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. When the mind and body come into sync and we find ourselves in the present moment we can experience more joy, gratitude, and happiness while feeling less stressed and able to think more clearly. We like to allow all of those benefits happen naturally and organically for you. And if you choose to just focus solely on the physical workout, that’s ok too. We are a 100% judgement free zone. We also believe yoga is for every body – all ages, all shapes, all sizes, and all experience levels are welcome.
“Real” State-of-the-art Heat:
Real Hot Yoga offers only the most state-of-the-art hot yoga studios. Our 1,000+ square foot yoga rooms feature a heating system designed specifically for hot yoga. It offers precise temperature and humidity control; and a UV air filtration system, which removes 99% of germs, bacteria, viruses, and odors from the air.
The heat is beneficial because warm muscles are flexible muscles, allowing you to achieve a deeper stretch with less chance of injury. The heat aids also in detoxifying the body to make you feel energized and invigorated! It also adds a cardiovascular element other yoga classes don’t offer making any hot yoga class at Real Hot Yoga a great option for overall fitness.
However, it’s the humidity that makes Real Hot Yoga’s studio state-of-the-art. There are a lot of ways to heat a room, but heating alone removes virtually all humidity from the air causing perspiration to evaporate as fast as the body can produce it leading to dehydration and exhaustion. At Real Hot Yoga we maintain a comfortable, healthy, humidity of 40-50%. The humidity prevents perspiration from evaporating. When perspiration sits on the skin it allows our body’s cooling system (perspiration) to do what it’s intended to do – maintain a safe internal body temperature. Contrary to popular belief, our humidity doesn’t cause you to sweat more, the lack of evaporation helps to prevent dehydration you might experience in a heated environment without proper humidity.
