Tracy Serrano

Tracy recently moved to Knoxville from sunny Southern California. It was years ago in So Cal that a dear friend first introduced her to yoga, and it was “love at first practice”. Ashtanga based vinyasa and power flow yoga is her passion and yet she definitely knows when it’s a day for a restorative class. Her goal is to make yoga welcoming and comfortable for all and to take the “fear or mystique” out of yoga. She wants to make each class fun and enjoyable, yet focusing on breath, alignment. She is crazy in love with her  three boys and is thankful and blessed to spend her time sharing and teaching yoga to practitioners new and old.

  • TGIF Happy Hour Hot Flow - level 1
  • The weekend starts here! This hot class is exactly what it sounds like - 60 minutes of fast paced, fun, flow style yoga that might just have you dancing in your downward dog! Great class for ALL levels!

  • Hot Power Yoga - level 1
  • Hot Flow/Hot power/Hot vinyasa - Call it what you want, it’s one of our favorite classes! Power yoga offers an excellent way to tone & strengthen muscles, increase heart rate, and burn calories...and then some! The hot room, 95 will make you sweat giving your body an awesome detoxification. Challenge yourself, feel great, and prepare to power through the rest of your day… or evening. Don't let the "level 1" fool you! Level 1 simply means more detailed descriptions, and optional/revised poses taught, but first timer or experienced yogis will both get a GREAT workout!

  • Yin Yoga - Level 1
  • If we could, we'd make this class mandatory. The harder you work your body, the more you NEED Yin Yoga. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular styles of yoga (and other forms of exercise) that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles.

    Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues (such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints) that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice or other forms of exercise. Many of the stretches focus on the hips, pelvis, and lower spine as many problems and injuries (such as knees, ankles, back and neck) can be lessened and prevented by dealing with tight hips. Very therapeutic - and to make it more so, we've added some heat. Plan to attend, your body will thank you!

  • Hot Power Yoga - all levels
  • Hot Flow/Hot power/Hot vinyasa - Call it what you want, it’s one of our favorite classes! Power yoga offers an excellent way to tone & strengthen muscles, increase heart rate, and burn calories...and then some! The hot room, 95 will make you sweat giving your body an awesome detoxification. Challenge yourself, feel great, and prepare to power through the rest of your day… or evening. This all levels class has plenty of instruction for beginners, and some optional, more advanced poses such as arm balances and inversions to challenge more experienced yogis.

  • Hot Power Yoga - level 2
  • One of our favorite classes! Power yoga is based on the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of Hatha yoga and offers an excellent way to tone & strengthen muscles, increase heart rate, and burn calories...and then some! The hot room, 95 will make you sweat giving your body an awesome detoxification. Challenge yourself, feel great, and prepare to power through the rest of your day… or evening. The pace of this level 2 class is slightly faster than level 1 and more advanced poses such as arm balances and inversions will be introduced.  

  • Yoga Basics Class/workshop
  • Never stepped foot in a yoga room or onto a yoga mat but ready to take the leap? This workshop is for you! You'll learn how to do the basic yoga poses so you can confidently attend any level 1 class. From there, after just a couple classes the transition to all-levels and level 2 classes is easy as those classes feature the same poses and any additional, more advanced poses, are optional. This is also a great opportunity for more experience yogis to go back and see where you've been getting lazy in your poses so you can refine and get more out of your practice. If you have an active membership, intro offer or current 5 or 10 class pack this workshop is FREE! Cost is $20 for Non-clients, payment will be taken at the studio so please arrive 10 minutes early.
